And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.

It is evident that a spiritual seeking and hunger for the truth is increasing throughout the United States, especially among the younger generations. In 2026, two significant events will present a unique opportunity for gospel preaching and distributing the Recovery Version in North America and particularly the United States: the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the FIFA World Cup matches. The saints in the Lord’s recovery have a marvelous opportunity to rise up and spread God’s interpreted Word to hungry seekers throughout North America. 

At this special time, there is the need for a special response. The coworkers in North America would like to present the saints with a new initiative, “The Truth Sets US Free.” The burden is that as many saints as possible would rise up to pray, give, and go to participate in this move of the Lord. A group of brothers is coordinating nationally to pray and fellowship with the hope that the Lord would blend the churches, vitalize the saints, and establish the Recovery Version as the definitive Bible translation read by believers in the United States, thus preparing this country to be used by Him at the end of this age. May we all gain a taste for sharing the gospel and help many people know Christ and be set free by the truth! 

For this gospel outreach, Bibles for America (BfA) is preparing 500,000 copies of the New Testament Recovery Version in English and Spanish, bundled together with Basic Elements of the Christian Life, vol. 1. Also, 200,000 copies of Spiritual Nourishment, a new title that contains ninety days of Bible verses and corresponding excerpts from the writings of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, will be available only through BfA. Bibles, books, gospel tracts, and other distribution materials in both English and Spanish can be ordered by creating an account at materials.bfa.org. If 5,000 saints from the local churches in the US would be faithful to give away one New Testament Recovery Version per week in 2026, we will have distributed 250,000 copies by the end of this year!
